The invention relates to a contact arrangement (1) for an electric switching device (8) having a first contact part (2) and a second contact part (3), wherein the first contact part (2) comprises at last one first contact finger (5.1 to 5.n), wherein the first contact finger (5.1 to 5.n) comprises a flexible and electrically conductive support element (S1) that extends in a longitudinal direction (Y) and a contact surface (K1) that this arranged on a free end of the support element (S1) and that extends away in the direction of the second contact part (3), wherein the contact surface (K1) in an electrically conductive state of the contact arrangement (K1) abuts the second contact part (3) with a pressing force produced by means of the support element (S1). According to the invention, the first contact finger (5.1 to 5.n) comprises a bi-metal arrangement (B) at least in the region of the support element (S1), which bi-metal arrangement is arranged and designed in such a manner that a deflection in the direction of the second contact part (3) occurs as a result of an increase in the temperature of the first contact finger (5.1 to 5.n).
