The purpose of the present invention is to provide a turbine housing assembly that, compared to conventional sheet-metal turbine housing, is lighter, more easily produced, less expensive, and has lower heat capacity. The turbine housing assembly (1), having a turbine housing into which a turbine wheel is inserted and which is configured by joining a plurality of configuration members, is characterized by: comprising at least a scroll section (2) and a coupling section (4); and the scroll section (2) and the coupling section (4) each being formed by working one sheet of sheet metal, each being welded to an annular lid section (6) that intersects the turbine axial direction line (7), and both being coupled in the turbine axial direction via the annular lid section (6). The scroll section (2) is formed in a tube-with-bottom shape having a peripheral wall section (20) and a bottom surface section (22), has a spiral exhaust gas flowpath (2A) formed inside the tube-with-bottom shape, through which exhaust gas flows that flows in from an exhaust gas entry port (24), and has an exhaust gas discharge port (2B) through which the exhaust gas that flowed along the exhaust gas flowpath (2A) flows, piercing the bottom surface section (22) thereof.
