METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SENSING AMBIENT LIGHT

Disclosed methods and systems relate to sensing ambient light. Some head-mountable displays (HMDs) and other types of wearable computing devices have incorporated ambient light sensors. The ambient light sensor can be used to sense ambient light in an environment of the HMD. In particular, the ambient light sensor can generate information that indicates an amount of the ambient light. A controller can use the information to adjust intensity of a display of the HMD.
