PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil body of an electric apparatus which sufficiently pours an insulation varnish to a center part of a coil of the coil body without causing gaps thereby achieving excellent insulation quality and heat radiation performance, and to provide a manufacturing method of the coil body of the electric apparatus.SOLUTION: In a coil body 1 of an electric apparatus which includes an iron core 11 and a coil 12 formed by winding a wire 2 around the iron core 11, the coil 12 includes an upper layer part where liquid repellent treatment is performed on the wire 2 by a liquid repellent agent and a lower layer part where the liquid repellent treatment is not performed on the wire.
