A temperature-dependent switching mechanism (25) for a temperature-dependent switch (10), which has a housing (11) which accommodates the switching mechanism (25) and comprises an upper part (14) with a first external connection (19) and a lower part (12) with a second external connection (23), wherein a first contact face (18) which is connected to the first external connection (19) is provided on an inner side (16) of the upper part (14), and a second contact face (22) which is connected to the second external connection (23) is provided on an inner side (21) of the lower part (12), comprises a snap-action disc (26, 31), on which a resting region (41) is provided, on which a moveable contact part (29) is held nondetachably, wherein the contact part (29) interacts with the first contact face (18) and the snap-action disc (26, 31) interacts with the second contact face (22), and wherein the snap-action disc (26, 31) lifts the moveable contact part (29) off from the first contact face (18) depending on the temperature of said snap-action disc. The resting region (41) is separated from the snap-action disc (26, 31) over part (44) of its circumferential region (43) by a gap (42), which is preferably greater than 180°. |
