A washing machine and a method for washing laundry thereof are provided to improve washing and rinsing effect by spirally forming a circulation guide at side part of a tub and ejecting water to laundry in a drum. A washing machine comprises a tub(3), a drum(4), and a circulation guide(30) having an uneven unit. The drum is rotated in the tub. The circulation guide is formed in the tub to rotate water along an inner surface of the tub and to supply water in to the drum. The uneven unit is formed at the inner surface of the tub. The circulation guide is spirally formed in the tub to rotating water. |
