CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a positive active material comprises a step of manufacturing a mixture by preparing a precursor represented by chemical formula 1: A(OH)_(2-a), a lithium ion which can intercalate and deintercalate lithium ions and is represented by chemical formula 2: Li[Li_zA_(1-z-a)D_a]E_bO_(2-b), and a lithium supplying material; and a step of sintering the mixture. A lithium secondary battery (1) includes a positive electrode (3), a negative electrode (2), and an electrolyte. The positive electrode includes a current collector and a positive active material layer formed on the current collector. The positive active material layer includes the positive active material.
