PURPOSE: A composition is provided to prevent and improve allergic diseases by suppressing the production of IgE and IgG and the secretion of histamine. CONSTITUTION: A food composition comprises 100 parts by weight of acanthopanax senticosus extracts and 50-150 parts by weight of prunellavulgaris extracts. The food composition has anti-histamine activity. The extracts are hot water extracts. The allergic disease is at least one selected from a group consisting of atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, asthma, allergic conjunctivitis, allergic enterocolitis, anaphylaxis and urticaria. The extracts are manufactured by adding ethanol to the hot water extracts of acanthopanax senticosus and prunellavulgaris and obtaining from the precipitation.
