PURPOSE: A user terminal and a controlling method thereof are provided to enable the user terminal and other kinds of terminals to share an image. CONSTITUTION: When a touch unit touches a display unit or approaches to the display unit, a location image generating unit (1008) generates the location image corresponding to the location of the touch unit. A sensing unit (1006) senses either touch pressure or touch area of the touch unit. The location image is changed by either touch pressure or touch area of the touch unit which is sensed in the sensing unit. The location image is not indicated if either touch pressure or touch area is within a certain level range.
