摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of an engine by preventing an excessive increase in a maximum cylinder pressure caused by response delay of a turbocharger.SOLUTION: An injection control means injects fuel from an injector at basic injection timing Ta set by a calculating means at least during steady operation of an engine. The basic injection timing Ta set by the calculating means is set closer to an advance angle side when a load is low as compared with when the load is high if engine rotation speed is under the same condition. The injection control means performs safety injection control for injecting the fuel at safe injection timing Tb set closer to a retard angle side rather than the basic injection timing Ta only during a prescribed period when an engine load shifts from a high load to a low load.
