<p>According to one embodiment of the present invention, a user-filtering method in an online game includes the following steps, to be carried out by a user-filtering apparatus: storing Internet protocol (IP) information for each area, which is used for filtering users accessing a game server providing the online game service, and existing registration user information; receiving a user authentication request signal transmitted from the game server when a user terminal requests access from the game server; receiving IP information on the user terminal and user information from the game server; and determining whether or not the user information exists in the existing registration user information and whether the IP information on the user terminal is included in a permitted IP list from among the IP information for each area, and confirming whether or not the user access to the game server is approved.</p> |
