摘要 |
A method for reducing carbon dioxide, comprising the step of reacting carbon dioxide and hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst in order to form carbon monoxide and water, is characterized in that the reaction is performed at a temperature greater than 700 °C and that the catalyst comprises a mixed metal oxide, which (I) is an oxide of the general formula LO(Al2O3)z and/or (II) comprises reaction products of (I) in the presence of a gas mixture comprising carbon dioxide, hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and water at a temperature greater than 700 °C. The following applies: L is selected from the group: Na, K, Rb, Cs, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Sc, Y, Sn, Pb, Mn, In, Tl, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, and/or Lu; and 4 < z < 9. In some examples, the mixed metal oxide comprises BaAl12O19 or SrAl12O19 or CaAl12O19. |
