摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface magnet type rotor structure which reduces thermal demagnetization of a permanent magnet by suppressing heat generation due to an eddy current loss low and can secure high reliability in scattering prevention of the permanent magnet about a metal cylindrical holding ring for holding the permanent magnet arranged on a core peripheral surface of a rotor from an outer circumferential side.SOLUTION: In a permanent magnet type rotary electrical machine obtained by arranging permanent magnets 4 with polarities of N poles and S poles alternately arranged thereon on an outer circumferential surface of a rotor core 3, and covering metal cylindrical holding rings on an outer circumference of the permanent magnets 4 as a scattering preventing member of the permanent magnets 4, the holding rings are distributedly arranged in an axial direction as division type holding rings 6 obtained by being divided into a plurality of parts in an axial direction of the rotor, the holding rings 6 here are made of nonmagnetic metal material of heat-proof high intensity, and a binding tape 7 is wound around the entire outer circumference of the rotor to be bound by surrounding respective division type holding rings 6 arrange in the axial direction.
