PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair of simple structure which is operated with one hand and is excellently operated. SOLUTION: The operating member of the wheelchair 1 includes: a first friction roller 6 to be brought into contact with one wheel 2 of the pair of right and left wheels 2, 3 of the wheelchair; a second friction roller 7 to be brought into contact with the other wheel 3; a first shaft 8 connected to the first friction roller 6; a second shaft 9 connected to the second friction roller 7; and connection members 18, 28 for connecting the first shaft 8 to the second shaft 9.
