PURPOSE: An expansion joint device for a railroad bridge is provided to obtain durability of components and stably treat the leakage of gravel on a track bed, the leakage of water, and foreign substances generated in the railroad bridge. CONSTITUTION: An expansion joint device (A) for a railroad bridge comprises an anchor bolt (10,10'), elastic pads (20,20'), an expansion plate (30), pressure plates (40,40'), and a nut (N). The anchor bolt is individually embedded into corners of bridge slabs (S,S'). The elastic pads are inserted into the anchor bolt and include elastic protrusion units (21,21'). Both connection pieces (31,31') of the expansion plate are inserted into the anchor bolt so that the expansion plate is connected to the upper part of the elastic pads. The pressure plate is covered by both connection pieces of the expansion plate and is inserted into the anchor bolt. The nut is connected to the anchor bolt exposed to the upper part of the pressure plate. |
