<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a capacitive-coupling-scheme input device that is easy to manufacture. An input device provided with a pair of coordinate detecting electrodes, which are arranged on the observer side of a liquid crystal display device and oppose one another so as to be orthogonal with a dielectric element therebetween; wherein the liquid crystal display device has a translucent substrate (16), which is affixed on top of a front-side substrate (12) arranged on the observer side of a liquid crystal display panel, an adhesion layer (17) constituting the dielectric element being interposed therebetween. One electrode (18) of the coordinate detecting electrodes is formed on the surface of the liquid crystal display panel side of the translucent substrate (16), and an image display electrode of the liquid crystal display panel is used as the other electrode (19) of the coordinate detecting electrodes.</p> |
