PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle capable of external power supply and charging that can reduce a loss in generating a single phase AC voltage and charging by an AC power supply for external charging by enabling charging that is appropriate for the supply power of the AC power supply for the external charging if necessary, while enabling generation of single phase AC voltage that is appropriate for power consumption of an external load.SOLUTION: Since a control device 60 has made to change the number of drive phases of three-phase arms of a first inverter 20 and the number of drive phases of three-phase arms of a second inverter 30 based on magnitude of the required electric power of the external load connected to an AC outlet 50 or the magnitude of the power supply of the external AC power supply connected to the AC outlet 50, the single phase AC voltage that is appropriate for power consumption of external load can be generated, and moreover, charging appropriate for the power supply of the AC power supply for the external charging can be performed. |
