PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of obtaining tomographic images excellent in the visibility, and a radiation tomographic apparatus.SOLUTION: An image processing device first creates a map m showing a direction of extension of a linear structure visualized in an original image PO. Then, the image processing device refers to the map m and creates an extrapolation image P1 by adding an area located in a side of the original image PO to the side of the image in such a way as to extend the linear structure visualized in the side of the original image PO. By connecting the extrapolation image to the original image PO while displacing the pattern of the side in such a way as to extend the linear structure visualized in the side of the image, the image of a subject can be more naturally supplemented. By creating a tomographic image D after the operation, the tomographic image D excellent in the visibility can be created. |
