PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic steel sheet having satisfactory high frequency magnetic properties without controlling the texture of a steel sheet, namely, even in the steel sheet with a texture having reduced Goss orientation.SOLUTION: An ultrathin magnetic steel sheet is characterized in that, in a magnetic steel sheet including <0.010 mass% C and 2 to 10 mass% Si, and balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and having a sheet thickness of 0.01 to <0.10 mm, the steel sheet has a concentration distribution in which, the sheet thickness surface layer of the steel sheet is high and that of the central part is low in the Si concentration in the steel sheet, and the concentration gradient in the sheet thickness direction is ≥30 mass%/mm. Furthermore the steel sheet has a steel sheet structure where the number ratio of sheet thickness penetrated grains is ≥50% in all the crystal grains, and also, the number ratio of crystal grains, in which a deviation angle from the Goss orientation is ≤15°, is ≤4%. |
