PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case for a portable information terminal which enables the portable information terminal to be charged while securing the waterproofness and improves the usability when used in an outdoor environment such as a saddle type vehicle where an entire vehicle body is exposed to the exterior.SOLUTION: A case for a portable information terminal includes: a case body 80 which covers a rear surface and an entire periphery of a side surface of the portable information terminal and has an opening that opens a front surface of the portable information terminal; and a lid member 81 covering the opening of the case body 80 so as to be opened/closed. A power receiving part, receiving power from an exterior power source, is provided on a rear surface wall part 82 of the case body 80 which covers the rear surface of the portable information terminal. A charging connector 100, electrically connected with the power receiving part and connected with a charging port of the portable information terminal, is provided in a space enclosed by the rear surface wall part 82 and a side wall part 83 of the case body 80 which covers the side surface of the portable information terminal. The case for the portable information terminal is provided for achieving the above object. |
