PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus which improves throughput and secures reliability of a cleaning function of a blade.SOLUTION: A recovery operation includes: a wiping operation of wiping an ejection port surface of a recording head by use of a blade; and a cleaning operation of cleaning the blade after the wiping operation. The number of recovery operations to be performed during a recording operation is integrated. As the number of the integrated values (N) is larger, the time for the cleaning operation included in the recovery operation after the recording operation is set longer. |
