PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent moisture from entering a cover surrounding a phosphor, and to improve yield when a plurality of phosphors having the same sensitivity are arranged.SOLUTION: A step portion 6b formed on an annular frame body 6 and a ring 10 shaped to fit the step portion 6b sandwich outer circumference portions of a base tape 8 and a dome-shaped transparent cover 9 placed on the step portion 6b therebetween, and the ring 10 is firmly fixed to the annular frame body 6. A phosphor 7 provided in the central portion of the base tape 8 is hermetically housed in a space between the base tape 8 and the transparent cover 9 to form a phosphor unit 5. This eliminates influence of moisture and the like as airtightness of the space accommodating the phosphor is assured, and the fact that the phosphor is in a form of a unit enables easy sensitivity adjustment when two phosphors of the same type are arranged, which assures measurement accuracy. |
