PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform continuous input of a document (input of a long sentence) by moving an input designation position (a position of a finger pressing a touch panel, in a conventional example).SOLUTION: A portable terminal 1 includes a display panel capable of displaying a software keyboard. An input control part 12 detects input on the basis of a position where a user is in contact with the display panel. On the basis of an input character detected by the input control part 12 and a database about character conversion, a conversion control part 13 extracts conversion candidates of the input character. A window control part 14 displays, in a selectable conversion candidate window, the conversion candidates obtained by the conversion control part 13, at a position adjacent to a detection position of the input character. |
