PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct deviation caused by sticking a display panel and a separation panel for separately transmitting an image for a left eye and an image for a right eye together.SOLUTION: By a separation panel stuck together on a display panel, a light transmission state is controlled for each of narrowed transmission areas B11-B15 with a width sufficiently smaller than a prescribed width of pixel columns PL1-PL3 of an image for a left eye and pixel columns PR1-PR3 of an image for a right eye composed of pixel columns displayed on the display panel, and thus the pixel columns PL1-PL3 of the image for a left eye and the pixel columns PR1-PR3 of the image for a right eye displayed by the display panel are separated in a direction of forming a parallax angle and transmitted. This technology is applicable to a television receiver.
