The sensor (10) has photodiodes grouped in sub-arrays on a substrate (16). Electronic components are arranged between the sub-arrays on the substrate. A light-receiving optical system (14) is formed as a micro lens array (24). Each micro lens (26) of the micro lens array transmits a part (30) of a field of view (32) of the sub-array. An evaluation unit (36) creates and assembles an image of the field of view around partial images of the sub-arrays, from the acquired counts of the partial image. Each photodiode is assigned with a numerator. An independent claim is also included for a method for recording an image. |
