METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING TRANSITORY LACTASE INSUFFICIENCY IN BABIES OF THE FIRST MONTHS OF LIFE

A method for diagnosing the transitory lactase insufficiency in the babies of the first months of life provides for detection of the intestinal colic and lactase insufficiency. The hydrogen respiratory test with glucose loading is used. The increase in more than 20 parts per million (ppm) relative to the basal level is indicative of the transitory lactase insufficiency.
