摘要 PURPOSE: A thickness measuring device is provided to precisely control pressure being applied to a battery cell by pneumatic pressure provided by an air cylinder in various ranges by including a weight compensation unit for offsetting a load applied to the battery cell by the weights of the air cylinder and the push plate. CONSTITUTION: A thickness measuring device includes a base block (120), a push plate (200), an air cylinder (400), a weight compensation unit (500), a thickness indicator (700), and a control unit (800). A battery cell is seated on the base block. The push plate is positioned on the upper part of the base block to be moved upwardly and downwardly and presses the top surface of battery cell when being moved downwardly. The air cylinder moves the push plate upwardly and downwardly by pneumatic pressure and presses the battery cell positioned between the base block and the push plate at fixed pneumatic pressure. The weight compensation unit applies upward power to the push plate and the air cylinder. The thickness indicator measures the distance in which the push plate is moved upwardly from a reference position on the top surface of the base block, converts the thickness of the battery cell, and indicates the same.
