PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer sheet which is used for a sheet for wrapping a rice ball and avoids contact of the rice ball or a sheet of dried laver seaweed with dirty hands or fingers even when the rice ball is held with dirty hands or fingers.SOLUTION: An outer sheet 12 is provided with a first tearing line 28 which extends from one edge 20a of the outer sheet 12 up to the other edge 20b and includes: a first inclined part 30; an intermediate connecting part 32; and a second inclined part 34. The outer sheet 12 is further provided with a second tearing line 36 which extends from the middle of the first inclined part 30 up to the middle of the second inclined part 34 and includes: a first inclined part 38; an intermediate connecting part 40; and a second inclined part 42. A holding region 44 which is surrounded by the first tearing line 28 and the second tearing line 36 is formed in the center of the outer sheet 12. The holding region 44 is formed at a center of the outer sheet 12 so that it may extend, from the front to the back of the rice ball 46, up to a position where it can sandwich the position of the center of gravity of the rice ball 46 by its two sides, when the rice ball 46 is covered with the outer sheet 12. |
