PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce complex metal oxide particles, the particle diameter of which is small enough, and the dispersibility in a hydrophobic matrix is excellent, and which take a perovskite-type crystal structure, with a method not necessitating a milling step.SOLUTION: In a method for producing complex metal oxide particles including a complex metal oxide, the complex metal oxide is of a complex metal oxide having elements A comprising one or more selected from a group constituted of Ba, Sr, Ca, Mg, Al, Pb, Co, and Sn, an element B comprising one selected from a group constituted of Ti, Zr, W, Nb, Hf, Sn, and Si, and oxygen O as constituent elements, and the method for producing complex metal oxide particles has a first step to treat oxide particles of the element B with a silane coupling agent, and a second step to make a product obtained in the first step react with a hydroxide of the element A. |
