The method involves sliding a nozzle body (1) and a needle (3) axially in a bore (2) of the body against a clamping force. The needle has a valve sealing face (4) on the combustion chamber front face. The valve seat (6) of the body interacts with the needle for controlling a flow cross section to an injection opening (5) in the engine. A mathematical method as a particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used for the geometric arrangement of the nozzle by using any selection-independent parameter and the criteria determined and considered for the constructive arrangement of the nozzle. |
