PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector in which an action of drawing a card body or the like from a housing can be detected in an early stage.SOLUTION: A card connector comprises an elastic holding member 24, 24, one end of which is supported by a front side portion of a housing 13 in a card body inserting direction and with which an engage protruding part 80 is formed in the other end thereof, the engage protruding part 80 being engaged mutually with a lock part 81 formed in a side portion of a card body E at a predetermined inserting position. The elastic holding member 24 is comprised of a conductive metal material having elasticity, integrally includes an elastic contact piece part 95 with which a movable contact 96 is formed, and constitutes a delay switch 83 together with fixed contact members 82, 82 disposed in both side portions of a card body inserting part 12. When a drawing force acts on the card body E, the engage protruding part 80 is belt against a pressing force by the lock part 81 of the card body E, thereby moving the elastic contact piece part 95, and the movable contact 96 is brought into contact with or separated from the fixed contact member 82. |
