PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption while enabling recovery at a sleep via a desired network interface even if a plurality of network interfaces are connected to an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: When shifting the image forming apparatus 100 to a power-saving mode, a CPU 101 of an image forming apparatus 100 controls a clock control unit 104 to stop the operation of an interface other than an interface set as an interface which becomes valid in the power-saving mode among a plurality of interfaces (WLAN I/F109, LAN I/F111) which receive inputs from the outside via a network (S401 to 406). |
