Road mirror with heating and alarms

Device and method for the confident working and management of the reflecting mirror used for the extension of the visibility in critical areas of the road runs. The reliability is obtained through the supervision of the possible environment conditions critical for temperature and humidity, through supervision of the possible failures of the heating system (4) and through supervision of the possible drift of the orientation of the optics (3). Such supervisions are interlaced with alarms (11,12) towards the user to alert him about the non reliability of the apparatus and/or towards the body involved in the road signals so that he proceeds with the proper interventions. As well the proper functioning can be pointed out. This is obtained through a microprocessor whose inputs are constituted by signals coming from: temperature sensor, humidity sensor, compass, x inclinometer, y inclinometer, electric supply and set points and whose outputs are constituted by site luminous alarms and remote alarms via modem or via radio.
