PURPOSE: A flat building drum for green tires is provided to reduce air inflow rate by delivering uniform pressure to inside the green tire and to prevent break phenomenon in low series tire molding, thereby obtaining smooth inner profile. CONSTITUTION: A flat building drum for green tires comprises a bead lock(2), a shoulder finger(3), a turn up brother(4), and a main spindle(5). In the bead lock, a bead(1) is settled. The shoulder finger supports a bead filler by being installed near the bead lock. The turn up brother is turned up by the shoulder finger. The turn up brother is expanded by pneumatics. The turn up brother is expanded to inner side and thread edge part of the green tire(6). The main spindle rotates drum facilities. |
