<p>A method for charge balancing and load control in parallel battery packs comprises: determining whether a voltage difference between battery packs is greater than a preset voltage value (S101); when the voltage difference is greater than the preset value, charging each battery pack from a lowest voltage, or discharging each battery pack from a highest voltage (S102); and detecting the voltage and current of each battery pack in charging/discharging currently, and implementing on/off switching of each battery pack according to thresholds of the current voltage value and current value (S103). The method prevents a single battery pack in a fully charged or discharged state from impacting the upper and lower limits of the state of charge of the system, so as to effectively improve the actual capacity of the battery system with each battery pack being charged or discharged in a controllable and optimal condition.</p> |
