INFORMATION NOTIFICATION METHOD AND DEVICE OF MICROBLOG CLIENT

Disclosed are an information notification method and device for a microblog client. The method comprises: updating information of a microblog client; extracting information of a client identified as a specified category in an associated client list of the microblog client, and notifying the client in the specified category of the updated information of the microblog client; and filtering out the information of the client identified as the specified category in the associated client list of the microblog client, and notifying the rest of clients in the associated client list of the updated information of the microblog client. The present invention ensures that an associated client in a specified category of a microblog client can be notified and enables information of a microblog client to be effectively synchronized, thereby improving the information processing efficiency of a microblog client.
