PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a SIP type electronic component with lead terminals which, although the amount of its new production has declined, can be produced at low cost even in small lots, and which eliminates the drawbacks of conventional SIP type electronic components that they tend to fall over easily and that their model numbers and names cannot be seen from above.SOLUTION: An electronic circuit 13 consisting of a printed circuit board fitted with lead terminals is housed in a case 10 whose cross section is substantially U-shaped, the left and right-side openings being closed up with a seal member 12, whereby the need for coating the electronic circuit or filling it with a filler is eliminated. Indication needed for product is provided on the seal member 12, so that there is no need to print to the case 10. Especially, part of the seal member 12 is bent on a top case surface 10d when pasted thereto, so that the model number and name which is important indication is made visible from above. |
