PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance regarding display of a preview image.SOLUTION: In an electronic camera, an imager 16 outputs raw image data corresponding to an optical image captured on an imaging surface, and a CPU 26 executes strict AE processing and an AF processing according to an imaging mode specified by an operation of a mode key 28 md among a plurality of imaging modes including a self portrait mode, and then acquires the image data in a YUV format based on the raw image data outputted by the imager 16 in response to a full push of a shutter button 28sh, and a preview image corresponding to the acquired image data is displayed on an LCD monitor 28 for a specified period using the timing of the full push of the shutter button 28sh as a reference, and the duration of the specified period set corresponding to the self portrait mode is extended longer than the duration of the specified period set corresponding to a different imaging mode from the self portrait mode. |
