PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen scroll method and device for controlling a list view on a display using a motion sensor (a gyroscope or an acceleration sensor) mounted on an input device (a television remote controller, a smart phone with touch input, a tablet, etc.) capable of touch input.SOLUTION: There is provided a screen scroll method for display device including the steps of: starting a screen scroll according to a speed of currently generated flick input when the flick input is generated; comparing an inclination of the device on one predetermined axis with an initial position when the flick input is generated and determining whether an amount of variation is equal to or less than a predetermined reference value; and maintaining a current screen scroll speed when the amount of variation deviates from the predetermined reference value and discontinuing the screen scroll operation when a preset scroll stop condition is generated.
