PURPOSE: A device and method for an input interface are provided to replace an input with a mouse and a keyboard with an input a portable device, thereby improving convenience in an input mode. CONSTITUTION: A device for an input interface includes an input mode determining part. The input mode determining part includes an input identifying part (210), a corresponding mode determining part (230), and an input parameter determining part (250). The input identifying part identifies whether or not an input from a user is an input corresponding to a predetermined input mode.
