PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means that can be retrofitted to an outdoor unit of an existing air cooling device and uses rain water and clean water in different ways while enhancing a cooling efficiency of the outdoor unit.SOLUTION: An auxiliary device 1 for air cooling includes: a container 11 for storing rain water; a switching means for passing selectively either rain water or clean water; a nozzle 12 for jetting liquid in a form of mist; a fixing means for fixing the nozzle 12; a pump 13 for supplying rain water or clean water to the nozzle 12; a water pressure adjuster for adjusting the pressure of rain water or clean water supplied to the nozzle 12; a copper tube 14 and synthetic resin piping 15 forming a liquid passage; a means for adding sodium hypochlorite to rain water contained in the container 11; and a means for adding sodium polyphosphate to clean water. The auxiliary device 1 for air cooling sets rain water or clean water in a form of droplets having particle sizes in a specific range on a surface of a cooling fin of a condenser of an air cooling device C and removes heat by vaporization; thereby enhancing the cooling efficiency of the outdoor unit. |
