PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container holding device capable of smoothly inserting a liquid supplying member without causing the liquid supplying member to impose stress on an outlet of the liquid container.SOLUTION: A liquid container holding device includes: a guide surface 32a provided extensively in the insert/pull-out direction of an ink cartridge 21; a supply needle 43 that faces in the insert direction an ink outlet 23 provided on a case unit 22a in the ink cartridge inserted in the extensively provided direction of the guide surface, to which the ink is supplied from the inside of the ink cartridge when the supply needle is inserted into the ink outlet; a leaf spring 35 for biasing the ink cartridge to be displaced to a direction crossing the extensively provided direction of the guide surface; and a displacement regulating section for regulating the displacement of ink cartridge to a direction of the ink cartridge by coming into abutment with the ink cartridge while it is biased by the leaf spring from the opposite direction to the direction biased by the leaf spring. |
