PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a pattern for density correction by which a measurement result of a sensor is stably obtained.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus includes: a head to discharge ink; a sensor; and a controller. In the printing apparatus, the controller makes the head form a plurality of patterns for tolerable quantities different in the ink amounts in a region of a prescribed area, and makes the sensor measure the density of the plurality of patterns for determination of tolerable quantities, and specifies tolerable quantities of the ink to be used for density correction pattern, based on the measurement result of the density. |
