CONTENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, DISTRIBUTION SERVER, PROXY SERVER AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably distribute a content to an information terminal while copyright is protected.SOLUTION: A content distribution system includes: a distribution server 10 for distributing a content where use right information which allows reproduction is set to an information terminal 20; and a proxy server 30 which receives an instruction from the distribution server 10 and distributes the content to the information terminal 20 instead of the distribution server 10. The distribution server 10 includes: a control section 19 for determining whether or not proxy distribution is to be performed based on at least a load state of the distribution server 10 and a load state of a network between the distribution server and the information terminal 20; and a distribution instructing section 18 for transmitting the use right information to the proxy server 30 to give an instruction of distribution when the proxy distribution is determined. The proxy server 30 includes a proxy distribution section 39 which receives the instruction from the distribution instructing section 18 and transmits the content and the use right information to the information terminal 20.
