PURPOSE: An LNG storage tank and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to easily attach a secondary barrier to an insulation board without any other external heat source because main and auxiliary secondary barriers are attached by a heating member of a lower insulation board. CONSTITUTION: An LNG storage tank comprises a lower insulation board(230), a heating member(50), main and auxiliary secondary barriers(221,222), and an upper insulation board(210). The lower insulation board insulates the LNG storage tank. The heating member is arranged above the lower insulation board. The main secondary barrier is attached above the heating member. The upper insulation board is attached above a part of the main secondary barrier. The auxiliary secondary barrier is attached above the main secondary barriers adjacent to each other. A first adhesive layer(10) is interposed between the main and auxiliary secondary barriers and hardened by the heating member. |
