PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a scratch from being generated on a surface of a fixing roller in a contact type external heating and fixing device in which a heating member is brought into contact with the surface of the fixing roller.SOLUTION: A fixing roller and a heating member 112 to be brought into contact with a surface of the fixing roller are moved relatively in an intersecting direction with respect to a rotational direction of the fixing roller in a state that the heating member is brought into contact with the fixing roller. |
