PURPOSE: A water-tube type steam boiler using wood pellets is provided to easily recover waste heat by using a structure increasing the residence time of combustion gas, thereby improving thermal efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A water-tube type steam boiler(100) using wood pellets comprises a body, a grate(8), a pallet input device(9), an ash receiving unit(10), an air injection unit, and an ignition unit(11). The body is composed of a front water pipe block(4), a pair of lateral water pipe blocks, and a rear water pipe block. The grate, which is installed horizontally in the lower part of the body as a vibrating device, partitions a combustion chamber(7) and includes a plurality of through-holes. The pallet input device is installed, penetrating through the top of the body. The ash receiving unit is installed under the body. The air injection unit is installed under the grate or the combustion chamber. The ignition unit is installed under the combustion chamber. |
