PURPOSE: A beta-agarase derived from Pseudoalteromonas sp. is provided to ensure thermal resistance and to control decomposition activity using metal ion. CONSTITUTION: A beta-agarase has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 5. The beta-agarase has an amino acid sequence encoded by polynucleotide of sequence number 4. The polynucleotide encoding the beta-agarase has a base sequence of sequence number 4 or 6. A transformant is prepared by transforming the nucleotide sequence with a vector. |
