<p>A carriage 10 and track conveyor, features a carriage 10 which has three wheels 12,13,14, one wheel 12, on the inside of the track, two wheels 13,14, on the outside of the track. The track has variations in width such that curvature of the track best accommodates the path of the three wheels of the carriage with as close a tolerance as possible. The three wheel carriage variant may replace a four wheel carriage design, and may maintain better tolerances between wheels and track for longer. The carriage may further feature a pinion wheel on the carriage, engaging with formations on the track, to drive the carriage along the track (110, fig.12).</p> |
