The block (40) has three current input connection units and three current output connection unit aligned in two parallel planes of a rectangular enclosure (42). The enclosure comprises a housing (40') for a voltage measuring unit (44). A compartment is directly accessed through an access panel of the enclosure orthogonal to the planes of the connection units. The measuring unit comprises connection terminals (48) that are located in a third plane parallel to the access panel and connected to the connection unit of the block by flexible cables (300).
